What We Do
P.E.T.S. LLC (Peterson Express Transport Service) is owned and operated by Kyle and Pam Peterson. Being
animal lovers, we started helping with volunteer animal transports in and around Tennessee. As we became
more involved, our volunteer work developed into a full time job. We realized a need for safe, affordable
transport for the many rescue dogs being adopted to new homes up north from the kill shelters in the
Southeast.

Lives We've Saved
PETS in Action
Welcome to the home of P.E.T.S. LLC (Peterson Express Transport Service)! A family run business started by husband and wife team, Kyle and Pam Peterson, P.E.T.S. LLC is committed to safely transporting dogs from rescue groups to their new homes. P.E.T.S. LLC was the first commercial pet transport service dedicated to the rescue community. Since 2004, we have created an industry that has allowed for tens of thousands of dogs (and cats) to be saved from high rate kill shelters. Through our animal transport experience and dedication to saving animals, we have developed important transport guidelines that have become the mainstay in the industry.
It's truly amazing how far we have come from the handful of rescued dogs I transported for Margo McHann (www.gooddogrescue.com) back in the fall of 2003. There are so many wonderful people (and animals) involved with our transport from our employees to the volunteers to the adopters to the rescuers themselves....we'll never be able to thank all of you enough for what you each have done to make us what we are today. The southern dogs are the true heroes of our story. It's hard not to think about the ones we weren't able to save, but we focus on the ones we have found new homes for and will continue to help save the lives of as many as we can.
Here's a little background on the upcoming show, Last Chance Highway, on Animal Planet Saturday's for 8 weeks at 8 pm EST...a few years ago, we delivered not one but two rescued dogs to Tracie Brennan and her family in NJ, who happens to work with Al Roker Entertainment. She mentioned to Al about her long distance adoption and transport experience and as they say, the rest is history!
The show follows one of the rescuers we transport for, Shelly Bookwalter with Double Dog rescue (www.petfinder.com/shelters/CT309.html), as she rescues dogs from the side of the road and local kill shelters in the south. Each hour long episode will feature 2 or 3 dogs and their journey from certain death to our transport to their new adoptive families.
We are so proud and honored to work with all of you. Animal lovers can and will change the world!
Sincerely,
Pam & Kyle
