Links - MA rules re: dog importation
Rules for adopting a dog in the state of MA--click on links below.
Currently, any rescue (whether located in MA or not) adopting a dog from out of state must be registered with the state of MA.
Once the animal arrives in the state, a 48 hr quarantine is required at a MA approved quarantine facility.
*Failure to follow MA rules may result in steep fines and cease and desist orders being filed to the sending and/or receiving rescue.*
Here are the current MA approved quarantine facilities PETS LLC delivers to on Saturdays...
PLEASE NOTE!
*Sender or receiver must make quarantine reservation directly through each location as P.E.T.S. does not initiate quarantine reservations.*
*Additional fees are charged by each quarantine location which are in addition to the P.E.T.S. transport fee.
