We picked up our little guy Logan (formerly Baker) on 3/4 and he was perfect. Both drivers were friendly and professional and even pointed out where there was grass to let him pee. They told us when he was last fed and patted him on the head goodbye. Thanks for bringing our pup to us :) Highly recommend you guys!!!

To all the people at PETSLLC who make adoption a wonderful thing: Yesterday, Jan 14th, our little 12 week old Chocolate Lab came to us via your transport service. My husband and I were so amazed to see the professionalism of all your workers from the intake folks at the park and ride to the gentlemen driving the truck and delivering all the deserving dogs. Our little bundle came to us happy, lean, and with such look of joy on his face that I started to cry when I first laid eyes on him from the gentlemen holding him to pass him on to us. Not only do you give these animals the loving homes they deserve but you have reassured me that all mankind is not selfish. I want to thank you personally from the bottom of our hearts for all the work you all have done to deliver these little ones into happiness and loving homes. I would also like to thank Acadiana Animal Aid in LA for their part in making our adoption so hassle free. "Miles" is already running the house like he has been here forever and we are loving every minute of him. Thank You All for doing such a wonderful thing and bringing animals and people together for their "Forever Homes". God Bless.

In November 2012, you transported my sweet furbaby Bobra from TX to MD. While we were nervously biting our nails on either end, we had nothing to worry about. You guys ROCK! Within a few hours of arrival at my house, he was sleeping with me. As you can see from this photo, it's our favorite thing to do! He is a keeper and I love him to pieces. As an added bonus, my pal in TX who rescued him was reunited with him last week when she came to my area to visit. It was so sweet! Thank you, again, for doing what you do to unite pets and their forever families!

To Everyone who Works at P.E.T.S.,

Below is the email I sent to Shelly at Shelly's Angels Saving Strays. Please thank everyone at P.E.T.S. from the clerks, to the drivers, secretary to the truck mechanic for bringing this beautiful Doby girl safely to us. Feel free to use this email, and photos of Isis at home, as you wish and Thank You from the bottom of our hearts.

Hello Shelly,

Isis (Melba) is doing great. We spent the day with her yesterday when we got home just getting her used to her new name "Isis" and let her get used to the back yard and house. I introduced her to My black and tan Min-Pin, Buddy, first since he is the easy going one. Then I introduced her to Brewski my "red and rust" Min Pin. Brewski is a little bully, but they are working things out. Isis is very attached to me and doesn't leave my side. She slept in her crate, in our bedroom, next to our bed last night and, when Sue got up before me, Isis kept coming back into the bedroom to nudge me with her nose and check on me. I took her for a short ride in the truck to Dunkin Donuts to get coffee this morning and she was perfect. She lays down as soon as you get going about 30 mph, doesn't bark, and doesn't seem fazed by any noises, people, or anything at all.

As I write this she is sitting behind me on the floor, always no more than a foot or so away from me. We spent the whole day just hanging around in the yard and every time Buddy or Brewski barked and went running to the fence Isis joined them. She even let out a "half bark" when she heard a man's voice in the cranberry bog next to our house. She must already know this is home.
I already love this dog like crazy and I am so thankful you rescued her for us. I am also indebted to Peterson Express Transport Services (P.E.T.S.) for safely delivering this beautiful Doby girl to us.

Thanks again to everyone involved in the effort to save our dog, all the other dogs already saved, and all the dogs who have yet to be saved. The work you do, no matter what part you play, makes a difference in the pet's life and in their people's lives.

Thank You Very Much,

Alexander C. Couter and Suzanne H. Hawes

I picked up Liberty at the end of March. I got lost and was late and kept calling the driver in a panic, he was so sweet and reassuring that he wasn't going to leave without me getting my dog. When I saw her I knew that she traveled all that way and was taken out of such a horrific situation by BDRP because it was meant to be. Thank you to all involved especially those who brought her to me. She is a love and our home is now complete. Keep on Truckin' <3

Just an update on our dog Jake(AKA Shadow)

You guys are wonderful. Even the man who spoke to us at the drop off site was very informative. We waited so long to get our black lab and you were with us every step of the way guiding us as we went. It was just shy of 4 months from the time we fell in love with our dog to the date of transport. I am sure Kyle will never forget our conversations. Well we picked him up yesterday and he came to CT without any issues. He walks around the house like he has been here for ever. Thank you all for doing something great in helping all the animals from the south to find their forever homes.
We will pass along the word to all our animal friends that Pets LLC is the only pet friendly transport to use.

Thanks again

On April 16, 2011 you delivered a precious bundle of love to us. "Summer" was just over a year old and had made the trip from Missouri to Connecticut in the same truck as her litter of puppies who were all going to different forever homes. She was shaved and boney but her beautiful huge brown eyes made us melt and love her instantly. We had no idea what to expect when we made the arrangements with you to ship her, but I cannot say enough about how incredible you and your employees are. When that truck door opened and the dogs started coming out every single one was clean and smelled like they had just been washed! You would not know they had been travelling for days in a truck. Now known as Goofey, she is one big fluff ball who is living the good life on Cape Cod and in the north woods of Maine. We cannot thank you enough for the care and love that you give to these animals. There is a special place in Heaven for all of you! We tell everyone we meet Goofey's story and all about P.E.T.S. and the incredible work that you do. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Dorothy, Dennis, Denali and Goofey Picard

To all Aunties and Uncles Where ever you may be!

July 11, 2013 was a big day in Glastonbury, CT for Alaska Alabama and us. She is now Laska (aka, the Brat) and weighs in at a healthy 42 lbs. Her coat, including her proud banner of a tail, is in full winter bloom. She owns our hearts and those of many of our friends. And, of course, we have found new friends because of her and her antics. She gives us love and laughter every day, not to mention a few surprises!

Thank you so much,

We have used PETS LLC on many occasions to transport rescued animals to their forever families. Not only is PETS LLC the most professional transport company we have worked with but they are also the best organized & extremely detail-oriented. Those qualities are beyond important when transporting hundreds of animals across many states each week. Each animal's health is verified before travel & the animals are handled in a caring manner to maintain health & safety during travel. Extra time & care is given to fearful animals or animals who pose a flight risk. Every animal we have sent with PETS LLC has arrived happy, healthy & safe to their waiting families. And they have each settled in to their new homes & routines quickly. The transport reservation process is easy, instruction are clear & the staff is always available to answer any questions. PETS LLC also does a fantastic job of keeping both parties up to date on travel times, and barring unforeseen issues the trucks are always on time. PETS LLC is a caring company who I would trust my own animals with.

I wanted to take a minute and let you know how much we appreciate how well organized the transfer of Riley was on September 24th. Obviously everyone involved on your end had done this before, and it all went so smoothly and was such a positive event. I especially want to let you know how great we all thought the gentleman was who met us in the commuter lot and gave us the briefing before the transport truck arrived. I'm sorry that I missed his name and didn't collect his contact information, but he was great. He obviously loves what he does (I realize completely that he's a volunteer), because his caring really came through. It was great to have my teenage daughters (both of whom are typical in their knowledge that they know everything) hear some of his advice about keeping the animals on the leash, the use of the crate, and what to expect from our new pet. In addition to relaying how he believes that the animals somehow "know" that we will be their forever home and the love that will be going both directions, he cautioned us to not have expectations that might be too high, too soon.

Everything is working out very well for us, and I believe Riley will be a wonderful pet for our family. Thanks so much for doing what you do and doing it with compassion. (The guys on the truck were great, too.)

Just a BIG shout-out to P.E.T.S. for an outstanding job of transporting our new puppy, Brianna.....and many other dogs to the White River Jct., VT area!!
Saturday (5/25) was rainy and COLD!! (37 degrees!!) The P.E.T.S. transport vehicle arrived at 2:15 PM (exactly in the middle of the estimated time frame!!:))
and the off-loading couldn't have been smoother! ALL the dogs were CLEAN, ENERGETIC and PLAYFUL, despite their long journey.....they were more eager to play
than their owners, given the weather conditions!!
Our "Bri" did sleep most of the way home (a 70 mile trip back to Concord, NH) in my arms...and slept through most of the night...even after her initial meeting with our 7 month-old cat!!
My wife and I couldn't be happier!! TWO THUMBS UP to Paws & Claws and P.E.T.S. for making our lives so much brighter!!

Over the years and most recently adopters are very open with many complements on your service. When speaking to the different families, I hear wonderful comments of your staff, being very helpful and friendly. They seem to enjoy the volunteer at one of the drop off locations who offers advice and lets them know what to expect of their new pet. They find that very helpful.

It’s very exciting when the truck drives up honking the horn! Thank you for making the adoption process enjoyable for the families.

Thank you, Thank You!!!

In November I was asked to foster some puppies from a local rescue center from a patients family I had met at my work in a physicians office. I had no idea where this would lead!! We picked up two puppies that had been born to 2 momma dogs that reside on a very busy road in Little Rock. 16 pups in all! After much dilemma with my husband finally agreeing, we took these 2 pups in. We live in a very rural setting ourselves and see many puppies born on busy highways and feel hopeless for them. I have 2 young boys that have always wanted puppies but we have 2 grown dogs already! This was such a wonderful experience! Thanks to PETS and Out of the Woods Rescue for helping them find a new home so quickily!! We have already heard from their adoptive family that they are in a wonderful new home outside of Boston!!! What you do is a miracle.... We are so blessed to be a part!!!

Even though I had already planned to go to Allentown, PA so that I could also visit a friend who lived their, I was so amazed that you took the time to see if you could make it easier for me. The truck arrived early to Allentown, only ten minutes, but that’s ahead of time no matter. The driver made the who pick up easy and I met this nice couple who was getting their new adopted pot bellied pig. It was a great experience. My Hans, is doing great and is a special gift. I am so happy and amazed at what a great boy he is and that I can offer him a comfortable and safe time for the rest of his days. If I should ever need your services again, I will be glad to not only use your services, but recommend them as well. You are definitely doing God’s work in my opinion. I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and may 2013 be even better than 2012.

Hi, Hope all is well with you and the wonderful service you provide to animals. We received Jesse who was called Mario until we picked him up in Nanuet this past June. He's a beautiful Aussie mix, about 2 yrs old, and a great dog. He was very quiet and calm when we first got him and seemed to be sad, well things have changed, and all for the better! We're very happy with him. I appreciate your experience with transporting pets As we said before he's a great dog, we love him, and we want him to be able to get out a little more with us. thank you again and God bless you!

I wanted to write and tell you all thank you!!! I had a dog transported to me this past weekend from Longview, Tx. I was so grateful that you were able to stop in Longview. My dog's foster mom had a flight very early the next morning not to mention a very busy schedule that needed attended to. It saved her time that she used for other things. Every time we talked over the phone, everyone was professional and was willing to help me out in any way. The transport driver was wonderful even though he was sick and probably didn't feel the best. He was very pleasant! The trailer was clean and tidy. You all are a great group to transport with! I will definitely recommend you all to people that may need transportation! You all are worth every penny that I paid. Thanks again!!!!

I just want to take a few minutes to thank you all so very much for taking such good care of Tony while he was on transport with you last week. I was very nervous about him coming all the way from Texas to VA knowing that he was nervous to begin with. He spent the last 4 years living in a pen in an open barn with very little human contact but everyone was so good to him!! He made it here in very good shape and is adjusting to his new home!! I was very impressed with how organized and on time you all were and you answered all of my questions and made me feel better as well. I saw the picture of him posted on Twitter at his overnight in Tennessee and that really made me feel better. The truck was truly amazing and all of the dogs looked so comfortable!! Thank you, thank you for taking such good care of my sweet angel and getting him here safely!! Without you, I could not have gotten him out of Texas and to VA. Tony thanks you too!!

Dear Kyle & all the crew @ PETS LLC,

Thank you so much for bringing Coco Puff up from Memphis to meet us in Connecticut. She is just the sweetest little pup and we are so happy to have found her!

Our girls thought we were going to the beach today so you can imagine their surprise when we pulled into a parking lot with a big truck that was handing out dogs! It was love at first sight! Coco had settled right in and we look forward to many happy years with her.

Thanks again and keep up the good work!

Hello everyone!
Carl and Mae arrived safely and are with us in our home in NH. First we want to say thank you to all of you for making this possible. The people at P.E.T.S!!!!

OK - They may “pull a bit – or a lot” on the leash but when we have them stop, come back to us and sit – they are already listening. It’s only been 5 hours!!!

We are in awe. Right now it is doggy nap time….they are pooped out from the journey…but we are certain there is more activity to come.

They got along right from the start and are very well matched in size, training, activity level and temperament.

Both can stand on their hind legs, too – I think they could be in “Dancing with the Dog Stars” someday… Energetic but not overpowering at all.

You would think they had been brought up together. We could not be happier with the pair. Seriously happy!!

We just wanted to say Thanks to you and your drivers.
Last winter my wife and I thought about adopting and we actually went and met the truck in Londondary, NH. What great folks on board!!! We also met some awesome local people who were there to pick up their new family members.
We were starting the process when I was diagnosed with a very rare form of leukemia and things are not going as well as we would like. So in fairness to the dog we stopped the process. But we look back at the pix and experience fondly...
And we hope that the drivers enjoyed their lobster salid sandwiches that we brought up, hey it's NE LOL!!!!
God bless and keep up the good work.

I rescued my little guy Bogey [ formerly Lightening Bolt ] with the help of your organization about a year and a half ago, and i just wanted to send a thank you and an update on his new home.
We had recently lost a beagle due to old age, and i still miss that little guy every day, but Bogey has taken up the slack and then some ! he's pretty dog-gone happy with us, and we with him. I can't imagine the void in our lives if he hadn't come along. Just thought i'd send a sincere, heartfelt thank you. I wonder if you get them often enough.

She goes in her crate, we go for long walks and she loves to play with her toys. It really didn't take her long to get into her toy box. She only goes in her crate when we're not home, otherwise she is out and about with us. I think it won't be long and her crate can get packed up. She is a very good girl, we only had one accident when she came home on Sat. and we're working on getting her into our routine. We are very happy and she is everything we where looking for. The delivery service was very impressive and I would recommend them to any of my friends.

Thanks Again

I must admit that the day we waited for “Aaron” now “Brady” to arrive was a bit scary. We watched as several vehicles pulled up and puppies were exchanged for cash – I left just hoping that these pups were getting out of worse situations than they were currently in. We also watched several other “pet transporters” pull up and run in and out of their trucks emerging with dogs and not really letting anyone near the door. You cannot imagine the sigh of relief we felt when your truck pulled up all nice and clean and the doors were open for all to see. Thank you again for all you do for these “babies” – keep up the good work.

Westerly Donohue

Hello! I want to take a moment and thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful service you
provided for Cooper (now re-named Julian). Without you care and courage, this boy would probably not
have survived foster care for much longer, as his hygiene was not attended to, and he had two types of
non-contagious skin infections, and a horrid ear infection (all of which are being treated with the appropriate
medications prescribed at Tufts Monday).

You obviously did everything for him that you possibly could, and he is now going to have a loving and
competent home for the rest of his life. By the way, Tufts determined that Julian is only two years old. Remember
how he looked? Who could have guessed?

My thanks again to you - you will forever have my admiration.

Best wishes,
Wes Donohue

I learned so much about the whole process with this dog and I am so impressed with your team. I so appreciate Karen's patience and kindness with my state of panic!!! She did such a great job explaining everything to me and updating me on how Spice was doing.

Gina just called and said Spice is doing great in the car and she was also impressed with the whole adoption process, and commented on how clean she was when she got off the truck, tail wagging...a happy girl! Spice starts her new life today, thanks so much!!

Raven the Truck Dog

I am Raven. I am now a 4yr old black lab mix originally from Bentonville Arkansas. I am now living in New England, living a good life with my momma Heather.

When people ask her about me, she tells them “I’m a Walmart reject.” (it as a joke (here in the north)... but I know that is what I am.)

I have since learned that I came to the north via PETS.... and thought I would drop you a note. I had a pup with me at the time as well. He ended up in NY.

I am not a pet. Yes, I have four legs and fur.... I do bark, but only if on command or in danger. But I am not a pet for some kid play ball with... though I do like a good game of ball! I would like to know is this what was in store for me... not being a pet?

I am a proud working dog, always at my momma’s side. I live in high-class style; well taken care of. I go to the groomers and sleep in comfort so I don’t get bald spots on my elbows. I am now well educated; learning French and ASL commands on top of mastering my English... I can even pee on command! I am a service dog; meeting to my momma’s needs. I am meeting the needs of someone who needs me and will not let me down in the process. Not being a pet is sort of cool... I get to go places other dogs can’t!

I have travelled alot in these four years. I left Bentonville for the north when I was about 2yrs old with my pup. Got here to the north and have been here since. I have been to the Smithsonian’s in Washington DC. I have been to Montreal... New York city was interesting. I was in Maine and Vermont last week... tomorrow who knows! I am even the official dishwasher for the local boy scout troop my momma is with!

I have a good life now, and I know this is where I’ll be for the rest of my years!

I want to tell you about getting your animal; cat, dog or even rabbit.... fixed. I once had a family out there. I once had pups. But someone along the way didn’t care... and I have travelled a long way to come to a place where someone does care....

I want to know is this what you had planned for me?

Do you plan to give up your kids?

Do you toss your kids on a truck/bus to head elsewhere with an unknown destiny?

Am I a commodity to you? Like an old toy for you to toss when it’s no longer cute.

So please; get your animal fixed.... we don’t need any more “Big Business” or “small town” rejects in this world. There are programs out there to help with the costs, all you got to do is ask... Not just spay and neutering, but health as well. You just got to ask...

Thank you PETS for getting me here.... please educate the people.... as the road the next dog travels may not be the same road that I took.

Peace and safe travels

My name is Donna and I'm a volunteer with All About Labs in Arkansas. I had the opportunity to ride the transport from Arkansas to the NE. Five of our dogs were along for the ride. It was so much fun handing them off to their new families. I'm writing this though to say what a great time I had. It was a very long trip, a lot of work, but I have seen first hand the care that is taken with the precious cargo that PETS transports. It is their job but they take pride in doing it right and I can tell you they also enjoy the smiles, the cheers, the happy tears that they get to see week end and week out. From the rescuers to the transport to the adopters this is a total team effort. Thank you to the PETS Team for making me part of the team for a weekend. I stayed in the NE for a week and was able to see many of our adopted dogs with their families and I have no words for what a great feeling that was.

We just wanted to say thank you so much for what you guys do! We picked up our little Remi today in Danbury, CT, and were able to reunite her with her sister Indie (Annie) that you guys brought up 3 months ago! Being able to adopt a pet and save a life is a special opportunity that we are lucky and fortunate enough to be able to do, but we couldn't do it without you guys! Your organization and people are awesome! and we just wanted to say thank you so much for all you do for these precious animals! This picture is of Indie and Remi in the parking lot after picking up Remi this morning, getting ready to head home :)

Thank you sooo very much P.E.T.S!!
We met you on saturday afternoon, turned night, in Hampton NH to meet our new family member - Marley -..A beautiful 6 yr old lab you rescued in TN. We CAN'T thank you enough for all that you did for her and for US. She is an unbelievably sweet, kind, loving girl and we just adore her. Feels like she's been with us since Day 1. You have totally inspired me with what you do at P.E.T.S.-. what a tremendous humanitarian effort. Your selfless dedication to these dogs is overwhelming. We will forever be grateful to you and to our wonderful rescuer in NH, Anne Fortin, who tracked marley down for us and sent her our way. You are an inspiration and I'm spreading the word big time up here in RI encouraging friends to learn all about you and to donate. Thank you so very much.

We are so grateful to everyone who is a part of Pets LLC and Double Dog Rescue! Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for bringing Milo home to us. When I hear the pitter patter of his feet and the jingling of his collar first thing in the morning, I smile knowing our home is now complete. God Bless you all for all you do!!!

We can't say enough about PETS! Our experience went like clockwork, from reserving space for the dog we were adopting, all the way through to delivery. The procedures outlined on your website were carried through perfectly, and we found everyone we talked to very knowledgeable and helpful. Our dog was well cared for and happy upon arrival. Unfortunately, we were so overwhelmed with greeting our new family member and receiving paperwork that we almost forgot to say thank you to the guys on the transport. So THANK YOU ALL! We will continue to tell everyone who will listen what a great experience we had and we definitely recommend PETS. We'd do it all again!

Good Morning,
What a wonderful time we had yesterday in NH yesterday!!!
The folks their adopting dogs where so much fun!!! They where so excited. Those fostering dogs, what a special breed of people, just like the rescue people who where there (Judith from NH, what a special lady). And yes, lobster sandwiches and cookies for the crew. They are great guys, very professional, caring and nice guys. Thanks for letting us share in the experience. We hope to see them soon again.

I recently have been catching up on some old DVRed shows, and I just had the chance to watch a few episodes of \\\"Last Chance Highway.\\\" Luckily, I had seen some shows in the past, so I knew what I was in for, which is the full range of emotions from sadness for those poor puppies in the shelters to the joy at seeing a family pick up their newest furry member. I just want to let Kyle, his family, and his crew know that they are doing incredible work. You all have such love in your hearts to do what you do. The time and energy you put in week in and week out as you travel the highways astounds me! Best wishes to everyone at P.E.T.S!!!

Thank you so much for providing this service, for the dogs and for the adopting families! I had tears of joy in my eyes as I watched the other families in front of us meet their dogs. I just took my new adoptee to the vet and she could not believe that
anyone would want to put her to sleep! I picked her up a couple of months ago in New Hampshire (she was sponsored by Almost Home Rescue) and when your driver opened up the trailer and I saw all those dogs - well it made me cry! I was happy for all of those lucky ones but sad for all the others who did not make it.

I want to thank you, your company and your drivers for putting in all the time and effort it takes to bring the dogs to new homes. The drivers were very friendly and when they brought the dogs out one by one, it was very obvious that they got great pleasure from what they did. What a great organization you are!

Thank you again for my Tiger Lilly.

I am so glad that I was channel surfing the day I found \\\"Last Chance Highway\\\" I have seen all the episodes….

As I research and do my due diligence regarding adoption………I am more amazed by the info I find. What you do is nothing short of amazing. With all that you do regarding your transports… still have time to answer general info questions. In a short period of time!!!!! I am still waiting on some sites to respond from weeks ago and although the \\\"national\\\" volunteer army that does this amazing work is great-----YOU Guys are FANTASTIC!!!!!

THANKS Again for helping but most of all thanks again for doing what you do.

I adoped a dog you all have transported and wanted to give you an update! His name was Fred, he is a Boston Terrier mix, and is from the Carroll County Humane Society of Mckenzie, TN. We adopted him from the rescue group Pet Matchmaker and we are from Pennsylvania. He is an amazing addition to our family and thank you all for your huge hearts in doing what you all do. I adopted him in March of 2010 and recently started watching Last Chance Highway and put two and two together and thought OH MY I think Cash (his new name after Johnny Cash) was transported by your company. I provided a few pictures for you to look at to see how well he is doing. Thank you all so much for your time and dedication to homeless pets and helping us cross paths with our dog Cash. Keep doing what you are doing, its nice to see that there are still amazing good people left in this world.

Your company is a true inspiration. My family adopted a dog back in March in the Glastonbury CT stop. Despite the troubles of getting delayed at a weigh station and having everyone drive there to pick up the dogs the transport was great. It just added to the excitement. What you do is truly amazing and thank you so much. These dogs really appreciate it. The shelter we got Nikkie from (Wynne Friends of Animals) saves a lot of dogs but your team is also a huge part. Without you a lot more dogs would be put to sleep. We just wanted to thank you for your amazing company and for delivering our dog and hundreds of other. We LOVE to watch Last Chance Highway. We sit together as a family and watch it...with Riley (formerly Nikkie)
Thanks again and god bless

Hello. This is way overdue but I was watching Last Chance Highway and thinking of my adoption experience. We adopted a puppy from Arkansas and he, along with his siblings, was transported by you to New Jersey on May 22, I believe. I just wanted to thank you for what you do. It is so amazing all the lives you are helping to save. My puppy is almost 5 months old and is the light of our lives. The moment when the driver carried him and his brother off the trailer I was in love. I was so excited to meet our new puppy that I\\\'m not sure I properly thanked the driver. So, thank you very much for all that you do. You are very special people!

We met the PETS transport yesterday in Nashville to pick up our lovely little cocker spaniel and just wanted to tell you how much we appreciate the tremendous effort being put forth to make sure these babies arrive safe and sound even in 101 degree heat! Our dog traveled yesterday all the way from Lake Charles LA to get to us and we owe it all to you. She arrived clean and tail wagging, ready to start a good life in Tennessee. She is utterly adorable and we wish we could have 10 more just like her! Thank you Kyle for your work, and thank you Cindy for helping raise awareness of the great need for adopters of these sweet homeless pets.

Last week, on your return trip home, you guys were passed by a crazy family with two dogs in a white Ford pickup. That was us!! Thanks for tooting the horn as you pulled into the Sturbridge, MA rest stop! You made our day! The reason we were so excited to see you guys is because we were on our way home (CT) after a week vacation with our dogs in Bar Harbor, ME. This was the first trip for our newest addition, Faith, who YOU delivered to our family on Sat. June 26 in Glastonbury, CT!!! We are so greatful, and want to thank you for all you are doing to help these shelter dogs. I was only browsing -- just looking at puppies. Then I saw Blondie -- and sheepishly submitted an e-mail about her availability. Well one e-mail led to another and before I knew it I had committed myself to this collie-mix puppy who\\\'s mom and litter had been rescued. Well, after having her trucked from Tennessee by a great guy named Kyle, I anxiously awaited her arrival at a Tampa, Florida truck stop. With butterflies in my stomach the van arrived, and after dropping pups off to a few other adoptive parents, I peeked into the truck and knew my puppy right away. She was peering at me through her wire cage and seemed to know it was me. I got her into my arms and bundled her into my car for the ride home. She turned out to be a great dog and such a great pal to me. She is now almost 7 months and has enhanced my life daily. I thank Petfinder, the great people from the humane societies down south, and the big-hearted truck drivers who pull all this together and unite such worthy animals with their loving human counterparts. Without the dedication of these animal lovers so many good pets would be put down. I applaud these groups and thank them for all the saved lives. And I thank them for Blondie.

I was the lucky recipient of Shaggy, who travelled up from Tennesse and arrived on Halloween in Windham NH. I said I would never adopt a dog that I hadn\'t met, but once I saw his picture and talked to his caretaker, I knew this dog seemed pretty special. I had visited the P.E.T.S website after learning that you would be handling the transport and I read the testimonials and saw the pictures. I am not sure words or pictures can even adequately describe what I found in that humble little Park \'n Ride parking lot. The happy unions of dogs and people was heartwarming. For me, it was life-changing. I apporached the vehicle and asked for Shaggy and was handed this shy, tentative little guy who wanted to run but didn\'t exaclty want his leash to come with him. To say he took me for a walk pretty much describes it. SInce I was alone, some of the interactions were awkward as I juggled keys, biscuits, leash, papers, etc but the community of dog-lovers there were incredibly kind. People there adopting dogs helped and offered support. The guys in the truck were kind and patient and made me feel at ease. I had disappeared for a while, I was on the end of a leash, being spun around the grassy area...and they joked with me as I returned. I had tracked the movemement of the truck, thinking about my boy\'s journey. He was everything they promised me and I am so grateful for the wonderful care you provided to him. He has quickly warmed up to us and has become a welcome member of our family. Now, at least, we walk each other. Thank you P.E.T.S. for your dedication. I have and will continue to spread the word about your kindness and mission...

I experienced great service from PETS. Kyle and Pam were great to work with. Good Communication and professional. My dog that came up to Windham, NH. had a home waiting for him in Portland Maine. Buddy was a rescue from a gas chamber in New Orleans. He was driven by his rescuer in New Orleans all the way to Memphis to meet the transport. An 8 hour drive! then Buddy drove from Thurdsday to Saturday to NH. I was glad to see him. We had, of course never meet before, but he seemed to fit right in with us. I am very thankful for PETS. It is a wonderful service that more people in Maine should know about! Melissa and Buddy, the dog on my left. My poodle was a dog I had already before Buddy came.

I just wanted to let you know what a great experience I had with your transport company. We adopted our puppy from Tennessee and I was a little worried about her traveling up to Rhode Island. Well I had no reason to be concerned. They were friendly and very quick to get us together with our new companions. I would not hesitate recommend you company to anyone. Thanks for such a great experience.

I want to share some photos from the Pet Transport drop off on 1-31-09 in Windham NH . . . we couldn\'t believe how many people were there to pick up a dog . . . it was bitter cold and windy that sunny day but no one seemed to mind standing in line to wait their turn . . . the excitement and anticipation in the air was magical . . . and such a pleasure to see all those dogs being taken by loving people . . . the people carrying out the process of giving us our dogs worked quickly and the wait didn\'t seem long at all and we were at the end of the line ! They were friendly and professional and caring . . . the weather didn\'t make it an easy process but they were fantastic !

And I really have enjoyed the helpful hints Good Dog sent along to assist in the dog training process . . . they are most helpful . . . and you told me how to change our dog\'s name and it worked like a charm . . . she learned it right away ! And she always comes running when I call her name.

My family has been blessed many times; our son, our home, our family, that KFC coupon we got in the mail, and most recently our puppy. Our dog that we had rescued less than half a year ago had become sick and passed away shortly after we adopted her, and that left a horrible hole in our hearts. But we decided the time had come for us to move on and rescue another animal in need of a home. With very few requirements (Being a dog and fluent in German on the short list) in our minds we set out to find the right dog for us. We went to pet stores, talked to breeders, and friends of friends of friends. We found many puppies and older dogs; but none quite fit the bill. Too big, too small, afraid of spoons, fluent in French. Nothing was quite there...until one day less than a month ago my wife sent me a link to Petfinder as I was ready to leave was a picture of Cracker; a beautiful spaniel-mix with the brightest green eyes and the happiest puppy face (I'll grant that I've seen very few unhappy puppy faces). I filled out the application and by that afternoon I was having engaged emails with Caline discussing the knit knacks of our lives and by the evening we were on the phone discussing Cracker and her sister Cookie. I don't remember a lot of what we spoke about; I do know there were questions about our Vet, our Son, and our life style. But what I do remember, quite distinctly, was the phrase "She likes to hop!" I'm sure it wasn't particularly important, and hardly relevant to adopting a dog, but it's what sealed the deal. She sounded perfect; friendly, happy...hoppy. I spent the next half-hour making phone call after phone call to try and get my wife at work so I could declare we had adopted a dog!
We would have a month to go before picking up Clover (her newly christened name) from the transport on December 6th. And the wait was excruciating. But, slowly, very very very slowly but surely the day came. My wife would be at work while my son, my mother, and myself waiting in my overheating minivan in a parking lot across the street from Burger King (who, I summise, was intentionally blowing the smell of breakfast sausage towards my car-vents). I found myself in a sea of families waiting for their new members, and each one was smiling with anticipation. Smiling and shaking, actually. It was a bitter cold...

The time came and the Puppy Trailer pulled into the parking lot, and I found myself lucky enough to be at the front of the line. Then the trailer pulled farther into the parking lot, and I found myself lucky enough to be at the back of the line. But this gave me the opportunity to see as the families walked their new dogs for the first time. Some were laughing, some were crying; most were going to the bathroom. I even saw Clovers sister, Cookie. She was insanely adorable and fluffy; this of course heightened my sense of anticipation/breakfast sausages. Family after family walked by; and finally I was at the front of the line (again). I saw my mother making a mad-dash with a triple-layered grandson grappling for love in her arms. A man stepped out of the trailer with the smallest, fluffiest, most greeniest eyiest puppy in the whole world, put her in my arms and immediately she began to lick my face like we were old friends, or I was simply delicious. This was the moment I had been waiting a month for, or really months for. My son gleefully pet her while declaring at the top of her longs "dat! dat! dat!" This, of course, is also what he declares when it's bedtime, supper time, time to pet a tree, or bite my big toe. But the point was not lost! He was happy, and Clover licked his hand to prove how happy she was to be held by such a delicious family.

We took the long howl-filled drive home, and after sending thousands of pictures to Caline and my desk-ridden wife, the time finally came for Clover to meet my wife. Oh my God was it a meeting. My wife had straddled the floor going nose-to-nose with the new family member. From this piont on she has been my wife's dog; napping with her, waking with her, and eating raw-hide with her. My particular favorite being when the two of them are curled on the couch together, with exhausted bliss on both their faces. It has been wonderful. I enjoy my sub-zero walks, our training/treat sessions, and watching my son throw her squeaky toys in the vain hope of a pick-up game of Kickball. She has been the perfect addition to Clan Adduci. She makes my wife smile, my son laugh, and gives me someone to chase when my son is napping. Our lives are complete and I wanted to thank your adoption agency, the transport company, and most importantly Caline for giving us what we needed to mend that hole in our hearts.

Thank you all so much for bringing George from Arkansas to us in Windham, NH last Saturday (11/22/08)! Despite the bitter cold that day, everything went smoothly - and George arrived happy and healthy! Getting to see all of the other people and families meet their new pets for the first time was almost as fun as meeting George - I felt like a little kid on Christmas morning! You do amazing work that I'm sure you aren't paid enough for - thank you again for all that you do to help these animals, and for the joy that you bring to the lives of people like us! - Best wishes, Marisa & Jay Turillo, Burlington, MA 11/28/08

I am so sorry that it has taken so long to respond with a huge THANK YOU. You do such a great service for our furry friends. I was amazed the day that we picked up our Caroline at the pets that came off your truck. All the people waiting for their new family members to find their way out and to their arms was quite unbelievable. I never realized that so many people travel so far to rescue pets. Keep up the WONDERFUL WORK, and thanks a million for what you do.

Kyle & Crew:
Roger and I picked up Samson yesterday in Windham, NH. We just want to say thank you for what you do! The dogs we've picked up in the past, and the one we picked up yesterday have all been in fine condition at the end of their long ride. I stood and watched yesterday while people tried to rush you, everyone wanting to be first to get their dog. You obviously do well with handling both the dogs and the humans!! I don't know about you, but handling the dogs always seems much easier to me then handling the humans:)

We truly appreciate you allowing our Danes the first-class option of the tack room. This dog that came yesterday doesn't handle change well. Tonya was very worried that he'd bloat on the trip or that he'd be a basket case when he finally arrived. He was as calm as could be, hopped up into our car and slept the 2 hours home! That says a whole lot for they way you do things.

Thank you all,

Hi Everyone,
We are home safe and sound and everybody is getting along very well. Myli is a counter surfer at times, but a good listener, so far. She just doesn't like the crate but little by little she will get used to it. She thinks her sad eyes will get her out, but we will be the alpha dog. She is so loveable and plays well with Willy. She loves the car and trys to be good in the yard. Can't wait for all of you to meet her. People that have visited today, say it seems like she's always been here. The cats are fine with her. I got a picture of Eileen on the couch sandwiched between Willy, Myli, & the 2 cats.
Thanks to all of you great people @ the rescue & of course you angels who run the rescue transport. There's a place in heaven for all of you!
As soon as my grand daughter uploads the pictures for me, I'll send them onto all of you!!
Love to all,
Eileen & Dotti

For everyone at PETS and ALR, we can't thank you enough for all that you do!

We've had a wonderful first day with Brandon (or 30 other names we've picked out) and given him what seems to be his first trip to the beach (to meet our dog, Bromley) and first bath! Both dogs are sleeping very soundly after this beautiful experience.

PETS Glastonbury drop-off:

Day one for us:

I will give you full-resolution photos of any of these for use on your site or marketing material, and please let me know if I can be of help in the future.

Warmest regards,

Just wanted to drop you a short note - to THANK-YOU for bringing this wonderful sweet soul into our lives - she is just what this family needed.

Thanks for working with me in getting things set up. I was REALLY impressed with how very smoothly this transport went - The guys were GREAT !!!! They had everything ready to do. I would NEVER hesitate using your service again or passing the word around about your wonderful operation.

Please ask Kyle if he has any of those pretzels left ?????

I sure hope everyone returned home safe and sound. The weather in Allentown Saturday was terrible - snow and sleet - but we were TOO EXCITED TO CARE.

Thanks again,
Barbara Heisey (Shasta's new MOM)

Your company helped our foster Brittany, Tucker, make his way from our home in St. Louis (we met you in Memphis) to his forever home in Maine two weeks ago and we wanted to thank you for a job well done! We were so relieved when he made it safe and sound to his new owner who met up with the transport in New Hampshire.

We also wanted to say bless you for the job you do for all these sweet animals and our family's hope is that you, your friends and loved ones are all safe after these tornados that ravaged your state.

May you all be blessed throughout your many journeys,
Janet and Jim Wallinger

Dear Pam & Kyle,
I wanted to take a quick moment to thank you both for all you do for these shelter dogs. * your hard working crew as well* We picked up our pet on Saturday. Winchester ( Wynn) was accidentally sent ahead to NH and we were in Glastonbury Ct, living in MA!
We received such professional service from Kyle , we were both pleased and impressed. When we met them to get Wynn they were so kind and helpful. Also quite funny and smiling themselves for the long trips they had been on and still had 1,800 miles to go to TN.
It was calming to know Kyle was the owner and completely in charge and immediately on his cell to the other truck once it was realized Wynn wasn't on the first truck as planned.
We appreciate everything you did and do for all the dogs . We love Wynn already with all of our hearts. He got off that truck happy tail wagging and smiling. He is a complete angel.. My 4 yr old daughter is smaller than he but still so happy to have a little brother ;}
See, not all angels wear their wings, people like you hang yours in the closet. Thank -you again for the safe delivery of our newest family member Wynn.

Thank-you so much for your transport service. You brought up our beagle mix Bella from Union County Humane Society in October 2006. You transported her to Wendy who who runs Beaglesetc. We love her so much and Bella enjoys all of her squeak toys. Even though she is going to 6 years old she still plays like a puppy!!!

"I can't say enough good things about the PETS LLC transport that brought my Palka to New England. Everyone was so nice, very responsive, right on time and very clean too." Leslie Ward, North Sutton, NH

The transport team was AMAZING. Communication was excellent. When I arrived at the pick up spot I was amazed to see some 50 other people also picking pups up! They arrived on time and handed me a beautiful dog who was clean and happy! They were so organized, they provided all the paperwork and information and the process went so smoothly!

I hope you hear these words often--THANK YOU for all the hard work you and your organization do in placing rescued animals in loving homes. I must admit, when I saw my Jack (then known as 'Ollie') on I was nervous about adopting a rescued shelter puppy. I was expecting him to by shy and withdrawn, much to my surprise he is sociable, happy and very silly. He had no trouble bonding with our two Corgi females and five cats that are already family members. This has proven to me that the foster homes that you work closely with work hard at properly socializing these animals so that they make wonderful life long companions and friends to the new family they will join. Pet Transport is a wonderful service and amazingly not enough is heard about them. I felt secure in knowing that my new 'baby' was coming to me on a climate controlled trailer with plenty of water and was taken out for walks and 'potty' breaks at every available stop along the way. Much better than being placed in baggage on an airplane, I must say. Joyce and Kyle were always available for questions. On Jack's journey to our home Pet Transport came upon an accident along a Connecticut highway and was delayed by more than 30 minutes but like true professionals and true animal lovers, they made sure that everybody waiting for their puppies was aware. The message on Kyle's telephone was changed to inform all callers of the traffic situation and the employee at the meeting station was also made aware so that they could reassure all new parents to be calm, Pet Transport was on their way. When I am ready for puppy number four, you will be the first and only organization (New Leash on Life Adoptions--N.E.) I will turn to. Thank you, Heidi

Thank you for bringing our little angel Josie to us last weekend, we were terribly worried about the long ride to Vermont, but Miss Josie, smelled good, was happy, ( tired but happy) and I think she was no worse off if she was transported by car. I am totally amazed at how you do this and the care you put into it , so Thank you and hope to see you again this summer when we get our 2nd dog from MAGRR !!!!

Jessica Huggins

I was very hesitant to send a dog from TN to RI, but when the wonderful home came along I couldn't pass them up. I sent my foster of two years, Kenyon, on your transport and could not be happier. Stacy picked him up and made leaving him so much easier, and the new family told me when they picked him up that the people were wonderful. So, thank you for everything you do. You made it possible for Kenyon to get the home he deserved!

Terry Hiltz

I would like to express our appreciation of your recent outstanding service toward an adopter. I spoke with the Rolanders of NC today and she was so touched by your care of Penny the Pomeranian, who was picked up in Wytheville VA on Friday night. We, at Forever Home Rescue, strive to meet our dogs with our adopters but sometimes the pickup locations are out of our area, such as VA. Your kindness and professionalism reflected well on our rescue especially when we didn't have any representation. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for putting Penny and her adopters at ease and for your team's consistent outstanding work!

It is always a pleasure to work with you,

Bonnie, Skip, Brindle and Tanner

....the cargo was delivered safe and sound and on time, and what a precious little bundle of joy. Oh my...a very sweet little boy.

He made himself quite at home....the picture of the two of them is on Brindle's bed in the breakfast room. All is well....will keep you updated.

We were VERY impressed with the conditions of all the dogs that were taken off the transport at Glastonbury....all very clean and quiet. AMAZING. Very happy with everything, Kim. Thanks for all you have done.

Thank you so much for bringing up Charlie the Newfoundland. He had a great trip and is now relaxing in front of the fan with my other two. He really fit right in and I can\\\'t thank Kyle and everyone who made this long trip possible enough. Thank you very much. Al

Hi Kyle and Pam,
We loved the latest episode of Last Chance Highway! My son, Quinn, and I saw Kyle in Danbury, CT this morning and Kyle was so kind as to invite Quinn to take a picture with him. Quinn was very excited about seeing \"KYLE IN REAL LIFE\"! . He was shy at first, but is very proud of this picture and was delighted to show it to his sister. Quinn is dedicated to helping to foster dogs and posing for pictures with dogs on behalf of Double Dog Rescue.

Thank you so much to both of you for all of the amazing work you do!
