I just wanted to thank you for transporting Girl safely to New Hampshire for us. She has already been adopted and as you can see, is one happy baby. I would like to express our appreciation of your recent outstanding service toward an adopter. I spoke with the Rolanders of NC today and she was so touched by your care of Penny the Pomeranian, who was picked up in Wytheville VA on Friday night. We, at Forever Home Rescue, strive to meet our dogs with our adopters but sometimes the pickup locations are out of our area, such as VA. Your kindness and professionalism reflected well on our rescue especially when we didn't have any representation. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for putting Penny and her adopters at ease and for your team's consistent outstanding work!
It is always a pleasure to work with you,
Terry Dumas

Tito arrived safe and sound early this morning. He was well taken care of by the very kind staff of P.E.T.S. staff. He has settled in and is waiting for dawn so he can run... As I sit here he is looking out the window. He and our dogs hit off well and they played a bit together already.
Thanks for everyone's help and kindness,

For everyone at PETS and ALR, we can't thank you enough for all that you do!
We've had a wonderful first day with Brandon (or 30 other names we've picked out) and given him what seems to be his first trip to the beach (to meet our dog, Bromley) and first bath! Both dogs are sleeping very soundly after this beautiful experience.

I want to share some photos from the Pet Transport drop off on 1-31-09 in Windham NH . . . we couldn't believe how many people were there to pick up a dog . . . it was bitter cold and windy that sunny day but no one seemed to mind standing in line to wait their turn . . . the excitement and anticipation in the air was magical . . . and such a pleasure to see all those dogs being taken by loving people . . . the people carrying out the process of giving us our dogs worked quickly and the wait didn't seem long at all and we were at the end of the line ! They were friendly and professional and caring . . . the weather didn't make it an easy process but they were fantastic !
And I really have enjoyed the helpful hints Good Dog sent along to assist in the dog training process . . . they are most helpful . . . and you told me how to change our dog's name and it worked like a charm . . . she learned it right away ! And she always comes running when I call her name.

Thank you for bringing our little angel Josie to us last weekend, we were terribly worried about the long ride to Vermont, but Miss Josie, smelled good, was happy, ( tired but happy) and I think she was no worse off if she was transported by car. I am totally amazed at how you do this and the care you put into it , so Thank you and hope to see you again this summer when we get our 2nd dog from MAGRR !!!!

I just wanted to let you know what a great experience I had with your transport company. We adopted our puppy from Tennessee and I was a little worried about her traveling up to Rhode Island. Well I had no reason to be concerned. Your company answered all my questions, called me the night before to let me know the driver was on time and they even showed up in Connecticut a few minutes earlier. They were friendly and very quick to get us together with our new companions. I would not hesitate recommend you company to anyone. Thanks for such a great experience.

The transport team was AMAZING. Communication was excellent. When I arrived at the pick up spot I was amazed to see some 50 other people also picking pups up! They arrived on time and handed me a beautiful dog who was clean and happy! They were so organized, they provided all the paperwork and information and the process went so smoothly!

I experienced great service from PETS. Kyle and Pam were great to work with. Good Communication and professional. My dog that came up to Windham, NH. had a home waiting for him in Portland Maine. Buddy was a rescue from a gas chamber in New Orleans. He was driven by his rescuer in New Orleans all the way to Memphis to meet the transport. An 8 hour drive! then Buddy drove from Thurdsday to Saturday to NH. I was glad to see him. We had, of course never meet before, but he seemed to fit right in with us. I am very thankful for PETS. It is a wonderful service that more people in Maine should know about! Melissa and Buddy, the dog on my left. My poodle was a dog I had already before Buddy came.

I was the lucky recipient of Shaggy, who travelled up from Tennesse and arrived on Halloween in Windham NH. I said I would never adopt a dog that I hadn't met, but once I saw his picture and talked to his caretaker, I knew this dog seemed pretty special. I had visited the P.E.T.S website after learning that you would be handling the transport and I read the testimonials and saw the pictures. I am not sure words or pictures can even adequately describe what I found in that humble little Park 'n Ride parking lot. The happy unions of dogs and people was heartwarming. For me, it was life-changing. I apporached the vehicle and asked for Shaggy and was handed this shy, tentative little guy who wanted to run but didn't exaclty want his leash to come with him. To say he took me for a walk pretty much describes it. SInce I was alone, some of the interactions were awkward as I juggled keys, biscuits, leash, papers, etc but the community of dog-lovers there were incredibly kind. People there adopting dogs helped and offered support. The guys in the truck were kind and patient and made me feel at ease. I had disappeared for a while, I was on the end of a leash, being spun around the grassy area...and they joked with me as I returned. I had tracked the movemement of the truck, thinking about my boy's journey. He was everything they promised me and I am so grateful for the wonderful care you provided to him. He has quickly warmed up to us and has become a welcome member of our family. Now, at least, we walk each other. Thank you P.E.T.S. for your dedication. I have and will continue to spread the word about your kindness and mission...
SIncerely,

Dear Pam & Kyle,
I wanted to take a quick moment to thank you both for all you do for these shelter dogs. * your hard working crew as well* We picked up our pet on Saturday. Winchester ( Wynn) was accidentally sent ahead to NH and we were in Glastonbury Ct, living in MA!
lol
We received such professional service from Kyle , we were both pleased and impressed. When we met them to get Wynn they were so kind and helpful. Also quite funny and smiling themselves for the long trips they had been on and still had 1,800 miles to go to TN.
It was calming to know Kyle was the owner and completely in charge and immediately on his cell to the other truck once it was realized Wynn wasn't on the first truck as planned.
We appreciate everything you did and do for all the dogs . We love Wynn already with all of our hearts. He got off that truck happy tail wagging and smiling. He is a complete angel.. My 4 yr old daughter is smaller than he but still so happy to have a little brother ;}
See, not all angels wear their wings, people like you hang yours in the closet. Thank -you again for the safe delivery of our newest family member Wynn.
Sincerely,

I was very hesitant to send a dog from TN to RI, but when the wonderful home came along I couldn't pass them up. I sent my foster of two years, Kenyon, on your transport and could not be happier. Stacy picked him up and made leaving him so much easier, and the new family told me when they picked him up that the people were wonderful. So, thank you for everything you do. You made it possible for Kenyon to get the home he deserved!

Hello,
Your company helped our foster Brittany, Tucker, make his way from our home in St. Louis (we met you in Memphis) to his forever home in Maine two weeks ago and we wanted to thank you for a job well done! We were so relieved when he made it safe and sound to his new owner who met up with the transport in New Hampshire.
We also wanted to say bless you for the job you do for all these sweet animals and our family's hope is that you, your friends and loved ones are all safe after these tornados that ravaged your state.
May you all be blessed throughout your many journeys,
Janet and Jim Wallinger

I hope you hear these words often--THANK YOU for all the hard work you and your organization do in placing rescued animals in loving homes. I must admit, when I saw my Jack (then known as 'Ollie') on PetFinder.com I was nervous about adopting a rescued shelter puppy. I was expecting him to by shy and withdrawn, much to my surprise he is sociable, happy and very silly. He had no trouble bonding with our two Corgi females and five cats that are already family members. This has proven to me that the foster homes that you work closely with work hard at properly socializing these animals so that they make wonderful life long companions and friends to the new family they will join. Pet Transport is a wonderful service and amazingly not enough is heard about them. I felt secure in knowing that my new 'baby' was coming to me on a climate controlled trailer with plenty of water and was taken out for walks and 'potty' breaks at every available stop along the way. Much better than being placed in baggage on an airplane, I must say. Joyce and Kyle were always available for questions. On Jack's journey to our home Pet Transport came upon an accident along a Connecticut highway and was delayed by more than 30 minutes but like true professionals and true animal lovers, they made sure that everybody waiting for their puppies was aware. The message on Kyle's telephone was changed to inform all callers of the traffic situation and the employee at the meeting station was also made aware so that they could reassure all new parents to be calm, Pet Transport was on their way. When I am ready for puppy number four, you will be the first and only organization (New Leash on Life Adoptions--N.E.) I will turn to. Thank you, Heidi

Hi Everyone,
We are home safe and sound and everybody is getting along very well. Myli is a counter surfer at times, but a good listener, so far. She just doesn't like the crate but little by little she will get used to it. She thinks her sad eyes will get her out, but we will be the alpha dog. She is so loveable and plays well with Willy. She loves the car and trys to be good in the yard. Can't wait for all of you to meet her. People that have visited today, say it seems like she's always been here. The cats are fine with her. I got a picture of Eileen on the couch sandwiched between Willy, Myli, & the 2 cats.
Thanks to all of you great people @ the rescue & of course you angels who run the rescue transport. There's a place in heaven for all of you!
As soon as my grand daughter uploads the pictures for me, I'll send them onto all of you!!
Love to all,

We drove to Glastonbury,Ct., Sat/October 17 to pick up our rescue pup, 'Pokey.' Pokey hailed from Little Rock,Arkansas, and had actually been on the transport for the better part of 48 hours. She was amazingly clean, and not as nervous as we had expected. After a water/treats/potty break, she slept on a blanket, on my daughter's lap, for the entire 1 hour trip home. We just love this pup, and thank you for taking such good care of her, and bringing her home to Ct. safely

I am so sorry that it has taken so long to respond with a huge THANK YOU. You do such a great service for our furry friends. I was amazed the day that we picked up our Caroline at the pets that came off your truck. All the people waiting for their new family members to find their way out and to their arms was quite unbelievable. I never realized that so many people travel so far to rescue pets. Keep up the WONDERFUL WORK, and thanks a million for what you do.

He made himself quite at home....the picture of the two of them is on Brindle's bed in the breakfast room. All is well....will keep you updated.
We were VERY impressed with the conditions of all the dogs that were taken off the transport at Glastonbury....all very clean and quiet. AMAZING. Very happy with everything, Kim. Thanks for all you have done.

Kyle & Crew:
Roger and I picked up Samson yesterday in Windham, NH. We just want to say thank you for what you do! The dogs we've picked up in the past, and the one we picked up yesterday have all been in fine condition at the end of their long ride. I stood and watched yesterday while people tried to rush you, everyone wanting to be first to get their dog. You obviously do well with handling both the dogs and the humans!! I don't know about you, but handling the dogs always seems much easier to me then handling the humans:)
We truly appreciate you allowing our Danes the first-class option of the tack room. This dog that came yesterday doesn't handle change well. Tonya was very worried that he'd bloat on the trip or that he'd be a basket case when he finally arrived. He was as calm as could be, hopped up into our car and slept the 2 hours home! That says a whole lot for they way you do things.
Thank you all,
Betti

Please ask Kyle if he has any of those pretzels left ?????
I sure hope everyone returned home safe and sound. The weather in Allentown Saturday was terrible - snow and sleet - but we were TOO EXCITED TO CARE.
Thanks again,

My family has been blessed many times; our son, our home, our family, that KFC coupon we got in the mail, and most recently our puppy. Our dog that we had rescued less than half a year ago had become sick and passed away shortly after we adopted her, and that left a horrible hole in our hearts. But we decided the time had come for us to move on and rescue another animal in need of a home. With very few requirements (Being a dog and fluent in German on the short list) in our minds we set out to find the right dog for us. We went to pet stores, talked to breeders, and friends of friends of friends. We found many puppies and older dogs; but none quite fit the bill. Too big, too small, afraid of spoons, fluent in French. Nothing was quite there...until one day less than a month ago my wife sent me a link to Petfinder as I was ready to leave work...it was a picture of Cracker; a beautiful spaniel-mix with the brightest green eyes and the happiest puppy face (I'll grant that I've seen very few unhappy puppy faces). I filled out the application and by that afternoon I was having engaged emails with Caline discussing the knit knacks of our lives and by the evening we were on the phone discussing Cracker and her sister Cookie. I don't remember a lot of what we spoke about; I do know there were questions about our Vet, our Son, and our life style. But what I do remember, quite distinctly, was the phrase "She likes to hop!" I'm sure it wasn't particularly important, and hardly relevant to adopting a dog, but it's what sealed the deal. She sounded perfect; friendly, happy...hoppy. I spent the next half-hour making phone call after phone call to try and get my wife at work so I could declare we had adopted a dog!
We would have a month to go before picking up Clover (her newly christened name) from the transport on December 6th. And the wait was excruciating. But, slowly, very very very slowly but surely the day came. My wife would be at work while my son, my mother, and myself waiting in my overheating minivan in a parking lot across the street from Burger King (who, I summise, was intentionally blowing the smell of breakfast sausage towards my car-vents). I found myself in a sea of families waiting for their new members, and each one was smiling with anticipation. Smiling and shaking, actually. It was a bitter cold...
The time came and the Puppy Trailer pulled into the parking lot, and I found myself lucky enough to be at the front of the line. Then the trailer pulled farther into the parking lot, and I found myself lucky enough to be at the back of the line. But this gave me the opportunity to see as the families walked their new dogs for the first time. Some were laughing, some were crying; most were going to the bathroom. I even saw Clovers sister, Cookie. She was insanely adorable and fluffy; this of course heightened my sense of anticipation/breakfast sausages. Family after family walked by; and finally I was at the front of the line (again). I saw my mother making a mad-dash with a triple-layered grandson grappling for love in her arms. A man stepped out of the trailer with the smallest, fluffiest, most greeniest eyiest puppy in the whole world, put her in my arms and immediately she began to lick my face like we were old friends, or I was simply delicious. This was the moment I had been waiting a month for, or really months for. My son gleefully pet her while declaring at the top of her longs "dat! dat! dat!" This, of course, is also what he declares when it's bedtime, supper time, time to pet a tree, or bite my big toe. But the point was not lost! He was happy, and Clover licked his hand to prove how happy she was to be held by such a delicious family.
We took the long howl-filled drive home, and after sending thousands of pictures to Caline and my desk-ridden wife, the time finally came for Clover to meet my wife. Oh my God was it a meeting. My wife had straddled the floor going nose-to-nose with the new family member. From this piont on she has been my wife's dog; napping with her, waking with her, and eating raw-hide with her. My particular favorite being when the two of them are curled on the couch together, with exhausted bliss on both their faces. It has been wonderful. I enjoy my sub-zero walks, our training/treat sessions, and watching my son throw her squeaky toys in the vain hope of a pick-up game of Kickball. She has been the perfect addition to Clan Adduci. She makes my wife smile, my son laugh, and gives me someone to chase when my son is napping. Our lives are complete and I wanted to thank your adoption agency, the transport company, and most importantly Caline for giving us what we needed to mend that hole in our hearts.

Kyle and others,
Thank you for your service and transporting Dakotaa in such good shape. What an amazing energy - to walk into the truck with all those many dogs going places! rather amazing.
Sorry for all the calls - once I got on the right road, it was easy. your guys were very helpful. Good luck not getting into the storm - I think you beat it I hope.
Again thanks so much for your good service/care.
