Adopters are called Friday evenings between 6-9pm EST to reconfirm the pickup time and exact directions for their Saturday delivery.

Dogs and puppies are fed lightly and in their crates Thursday evenings (if they are here with us in Cookeville TN) and Friday evenings.

Dogs and puppies are walked individually with slip leads every 9 to 10 hours .completely taken out of the trailer for their potty break. Puppies are put in puppy pens since most puppies still don't walk well on a leash yet.

All the animals are checked on every time the transport stops whether it is for gas or picking up/dropping off a dog, which is usually every 2-3 hours.

Plastic grates in the crates to prevent the animals from laying on wet paper.

Air conditioners (heat when necessary), fans, a de-humidifier and an air cleaner are run in each trailer. In addition, there are multiple windows and roof and side vents .it is necessary for air to be circulating at all times.

Thermometers to monitor the trailer temperature.

Blankets during the colder months, if necessary.

A consistent, reliable, professionally run transport...P.E.T.S. has not and will not ever cancel a transport to New England for lack of dogs.

**Peace of mind that your dog / puppy is in the very best of hands!**
